HOW NYC CO-OP AND CONDOS OPERATE

Navigating the New Digital World of Local Law 11

New York City

FISP Seminar
Dec. 1, 2016

With convenience comes responsibility. And with the city Department of Buildings’ (DOB) new $29.6 million computer system comes new responsibility for co-op and condo boards.

Specifically, the new DOB Now filing system requires boards or their property managers to register with DOB’s eFiling portal and file their Facade Inspection Safety Program (Local Law 11) reports online. Paper filings are no longer accepted.

To help your board adapt to this brave new digital world, RAND Engineering & Architecture is hosting a free, one-hour seminar next Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m., at 159 West 25th Street (11th floor). The seminar will cover FISP rules, filing deadlines, unsafe conditions, fines and penalties, and how to register and file reports online. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

To reserve a spot, contact Isabelle Walsh at iwalsh@randpc.com or 212-675-8844 (ext. 246).
