Co-op and condo buildings do need an exceptional lock for certain places — tool rooms where you might get thieves, motor rooms where you might get vandals, an office that holds sensitive information such as residents' files, with financial data — and programmable keypad locks, with an essentially infinite number of punch-in codes, takes away the worry of people copying sensitive keys.
Through its voice-guided touch keypad, you can provide traffic control for areas requiring restricted access. If necessary, both individual users and user groups can be locked out by the administrator. Plus, there's a quick-lockout option in case of emergency security concerns. That includes zombie attack.
It's neither right- nor left-handed, and the lever operates bi-directionally. The Revolution runs on four AA batteries, and includes 9-volt DC battery connections for emergency access. A "Request to Enter" (REX) input allows remote access capability, and there's even a silent mode option if you don't want the beeps for some reason. For the less technically inclined, the Revolution offers two operational modes: EZ, allowing up to nine users, and Advanced, allowing up to — get ready — 1,000 users!
The keypad lock is UL-listed for fire doors, complies with the ANSI A117.1 Accessibility Code and Federal Specification FF-H-106C, and is certified ANSI / BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2. The lock and latch install with only five screws, there's a three-year limited warranty, and the manufacturer's website even has videos of the keypad in action. Get ready to lock and load ... security codes.
